Fortis College in 卡特勒湾 Announces 实际的护理 程序

卡特勒湾，佛罗里达州.  -(二月十三日), 2020) – Fortis College in 卡特勒湾, part of a network of schools managed by Education Affiliates, 公司., has expanded its career education options to offer a 实际的护理 (PN) program. The program is currently enrolling students and will welcome its first cohort of students on April 6, 2020.

Dr. 希拉•伯克, vice-president of 护理 for Education Affiliates, shares that the program was designed to meet a growing need in the state. “By 2025, 佛罗里达’s over-65 residents will account for more than 26 percent of the state’s population,伯克说。. “佛罗里达 will need more skilled, well-trained nursing professionals to provide the increasingly complex care this population requires in the coming years.”

The new PN program offers an 60-week practical nursing program that prepares students to sit for the NCLEX licensure exam and pursue entry-level positions as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). Graduates from the program can continue their education at the campus - Fortis College in 卡特勒湾 also offers an Associate Degree in 护理 (ADN).
